LEADERSHIP: SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT
Why Focus on Generation Y?* - ONSITE ONLY!
Description

Please contact MEA if you are interested in having our expert staff conduct this workshop on-site at your location for several of your employees. When we deliver a workshop on-site at your location, we will customize the course to meet your needs as part of our fee. If you would like to discuss your company's on-site needs with an MEA professional, please contact us at (800) 662-6238 or e-mail training@meainfo.org.

As baby boomers and veterans exit the workforce, organizations face distinct challenges in expanding their audience to include the newest generation in the workplace. This highly interactive workshop is designed for those individuals who manage and need to bridge the gaps with Gen Y. Participants who attend the workshop will have the opportunity to: explore generational values, find methods for communication, and establish techniques for motivating the youngest generation.
Topics
  • Understand what makes each generation tick
  • Identify values across generations that impact behaviors and work styles
  • Build skills to motivate, collaborate, retain and communicate with Gen Y
  • Self-assess how they relate with Gen Y and other generations
  • Learn techniques for mentoring and capitalizing on the strengths of the youngest generation in the workplace
  • Create and implement a personal action plan to apply skills back on the job
