Mid-Atlantic Regional Compensation Surveys
MEA provides data for over 800 benchmark positions in the Southeastern Pennsylvania,
New Jersey and Delaware region. These 800 positions are divided among 5 separate
wage and salary surveys conducted annually by the MEA research staff.
All of the surveys feature summary information of actual pay rates for each
surveyed position plus breakouts for size of company and for sub-regional labor
market areas.
In addition to the detailed information established for the benchmark positions,
MEA also publishes an annual report of regional wage rate trends that includes
anticipated increases for the coming budget year. The MEA Salary Planning Guide
also includes a number of comparative measures frequently employed in benchmarking
annual compensation changes, such as the consumer price index and the employment
cost index.
