HR Metrics Survey - The HR Metrics Survey captures key Human Resource data to aid Human Resources Leaders in making fact-based strategic decisions. Management expects solid, quantifiable evidence that HR is contributing in a meaningful and positive way to the organization’s strategic objectives. HR must examine both its current efficiency and effectiveness when proposing HR programs and align these programs with organization strategy. Metrics provide a set of quantitative performance measures that can be used by HR to assess their operations.
The HR Metrics Survey was developed by the Employers Association Development Group (EADG). This survey captures twelve metrics which represent some of the most commonly selected measurements in Human Resources: Absence Rate, Revenue per Employee, Benefit Cost as a % of revenue, Time to Fill, Benefit Cost as a % of Total Compensation, Total Compensation as a % of Revenue, Cost Per Hire, Turnover Rate, HR Expense Factor, Turnover/Replacement Cost, Profit per Employee, Variable Compensation as a % of Total Compensation.
The 2010 HR Metric Survey was conducted within the memberships of 14 separate Employers Association across the United States. 318 Organizations participated by providing data from their respective organizations in one or more of the individual HR Metric Calculators.
