EEO-1 Deadlines Changed Due to Government Shutdown
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has announced that, due to the recent government shutdown, the opening of the EEO-1 has been postponed until early March 2019. In addition, the deadline to submit EEO-1 data will be extended until May 31, 2019. The EEO-1 is an annual survey that requires all private employers with 100 or more employees and certain federal government contractors to file an EEO-1 report. The filing of the EEO-1 report is required by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and federal regulations. For additional information, visit the EEOC’s website at www.eeoc.gov.
Please contact MEA’s Hotline with any questions or if you need additional information.
