Train Your Workforce with MEA Using WEDnetPA Funds

Are you looking to upskill your team without straining your training budget? MEA can help – and so can Pennsylvania’s WEDnetPA program.

MEA is proud to be one of the region’s top providers of leadership, management, and employee development training. As a third-party training provider, MEA offers a wide range of courses that meet the requirements for reimbursement through the WEDnetPA program – Pennsylvania’s innovative training funding initiative designed to help businesses grow by investing in their workforce.

What is WEDnetPA?

WEDnetPA (Workforce and Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania) provides grant funding to qualified Pennsylvania employers to help cover the cost of workforce training. These funds are available for a variety of training programs – from essentials like communication and computer skills to business operations and workplace safety.

Companies can receive up to $100,000 per year (not to exceed $2,000 per eligible employee)!

Who Can Apply?

WEDnetPA funds are available to eligible Pennsylvania employers across a range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, construction, and more. Both new and incumbent employees are eligible for training under the program.

To qualify, businesses must:

  • Be located in Pennsylvania
  • Be in a targeted industry
  • Pay employees at least $16.74 /hour

For FY 2024-25, training must be completed on or before June 30, 2025.

For FY 2025-26, employers can apply for training grants starting June 1, 2025 for training that occurs between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026. Make sure to apply early, as this is a “first come, first served” program.
